What is Journee and how does it work?

Last updated on 14 Jan, 2025

Here at Journee we carefully plan surprise trips with authentic experiences to unconventional destinations, all based on your individual travel personality!

Everyone is welcome to fill in our 10-minute questionnaire, where we ask all the important questions about how you travel, what you want to do and where you wouldn't want to go (among other things, of course!).

Then, we get to work on creating your very own Trip Proposal. When it's ready, we'll send you an email with everything you'll need to know... completely free of charge.

Then, it's up to you whether you choose to book your trip or not!

If it's not perfect and you want to make some changes, just reply to the email.

If you're not interested in booking your trip and were just curious, that's cool too! There's no need to 'cancel' or let us know you won't be going, we understand completely.

If you do decide to book, once you pay your deposit and book we'll take care of everything. You'll get a personalised Journee Passport with lots of details like a packing list, weather forecast and travel requirements. We'll check you in for your flights and upload your boarding passes along with anything else you might need.

About a week before you leave, we'll send your physical Journee pack in the post. This includes a Reveal Postcard and your day-by-day itinerary, along with Journee's exclusive Destination Guide to your destination. All you have to do is show up at the airport, leave the rest to us!
