Does Journee organise accessible trips?

Last updated on 18 Dec, 2025

As an experiential travel company, our trips often include walking on uneven ground, climbing stairs, or boarding boats. Some destinations may also have limitations due to local infrastructure. While we are committed to making reasonable adjustments wherever possible, we recognise that these environments may not be safe or comfortable for everyone.

At this stage in our journey, we aren’t yet equipped to provide the specialised support that many travellers with additional accessibility needs require. Because we care deeply about your safety and the quality of your experience, we choose to be transparent about our current limitations rather than advertise as a fully accessible option.

Since Journee trips are surprises, we understand that planning for accessibility requires an extra layer of trust. While we do not reveal your destination before booking, your Journee Proposal will outline the specific experiences we have planned before we ever ask for payment. To ensure you feel confident, we are always on hand to provide as much information as we can so you can assess if a trip is a good fit for your needs. If a proposed activity does not feel right, we can look into alternative experiences or destinations that better align with your requirements.

We believe you are the best judge of your own capabilities and comfort, and our role is to provide the on-the-ground details so you can make an informed decision. We highly recommend reaching out to our Community team before booking if you have specific accessibility requirements. We would love to discuss how we can best accommodate you and ensure your adventure is as enjoyable as possible.
